DYPAI keeps pricing simple: there are two public plans, and one unit of "AI work" called an AI Credit. This lesson explains both so you know exactly what you're paying for before you build.
AI Credits in one minute
AI Credits are the unit of AI build/edit work. Every time the AI builds or edits your app — from your IDE via MCP or in Studio — it spends some credits, scaled by how big the task is. A small tweak costs little; a large feature costs more.
Your live app never goes dark
Credits only cover building and editing. Your deployed apps stay live regardless of your credit balance — running out of credits never takes a published app offline.

A few rules worth knowing:
- Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle — they don't roll over to the next month.
- Top-up packs you buy never expire, and are used only after your monthly credits run out.
- Your balance = monthly credits + purchased credits. You'll see it in the project sidebar and on the org Credits page, where you can also buy a pack when you need more headroom.
Credits also meter Managed AI
Beyond building, credits also meter DYPAI Managed AI when your app's agent or image-generation nodes run (priced as AI Credits / 1M tokens). If you bring your own provider key (BYOK), you pay that provider directly and those tokens don't spend credits.

DYPAI sells only Free and Pro. (Legacy "Lite" subscribers are grandfathered, but it's no longer offered.)
Picking a plan
Start on Free to learn the platform and ship a first app on a *.dypai.app URL. Move to Pro when you need a custom domain, more monthly credits, dev mode to edit code, or to collaborate with a team. You can upgrade anytime, and your apps keep running through the change.
